Salus NanoSealer solves the challenge of cameras being obstructed by dirt, oil, tar and winter weather conditions when salt, slush, and grime quickly compromises the vital data gathering necessary for safe-driving.
A highway on a clear day looks completely different than it does in fog or at dusk. Self-driving cars have to detect road features in all conditions, regardless of weather, lighting. “I’ve seen promising results for rain, but snow is a hard one,” says John Leonard, a roboticist at MIT.

EXTERIOR SURFACE PREPARATION:
Camera lenses and protective covers must first be cleaned with Salus NanoBioclean to prepare the surface for receiving Salus NanoSealer. Cars should be clean and dry before applying NanoSealer.
APPLICATION:
Wipe on with microfiber cloth, or apply a fine mist spray over the surface, re-apply a 2nd coat to assure full coverage. Let dry and cure 3 to 5 minutes, remove any haze with a microfiber cloth.
